Guam Energy Office

The Guam Energy Office supports energy conservation, energy efficiency, renewable energy programs and practices. A line agency within the Executive Branch, the Guam Energy Office implements energy programs utilizing grants that have been awarded by the U.S. Department of Energy State Energy Program (SEP), American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA), and the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP).

Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI)
ARI is the national trade association representing manufacturers of more than 90 percent of North American produced central air-conditioning and commercial refrigeration equipment.

Alliance to Save Energy (ASE)

ASE is a non-profit coalition of business, government, environmental and consumer leaders. The ASE supports energy efficiency as a cost-effective energy resource under existing market conditions and advocates energy-efficiency policies that minimize costs to society and individual consumers, and that lessen greenhouse gas emissions and their impact on the global climate.

American Council For An Energy Efficient Economy (ACE3)
ACE3 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing energy efficiency as a means of promoting both economic prosperity and environmental protection.

American Solar Energy Association (ASES)
ASES is a national organization dedicated to advancing the use of solar energy for the benefit of U.S. citizens and the global environment.

Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE)
CEE, a nonprofit public benefits corporation, develops national initiatives to promote the manufacture and purchase of energy-efficient products and services.

Contractors State License Board (CSLB)
CSLB protects consumers by regulating the construction industry through policies that promote the health, safety and general welfare of the public in matters relating to construction.

Cool Roof Rating Council
The Cool Roof Rating Council was created in 1998 to develop accurate and credible methods for evaluating and labeling the solar reflectance and thermal emittance (radiative properties) of roofing products and to disseminate the information to all interested parties.

ENERGY STAR®
ENERGY STAR is a government-backed program helping businesses and individuals protect the environment through superior energy efficiency. Flex Your Poweris California’s statewide energy efficiency marketing and outreach campaign. Initiated in 2001, Flex Your Power is a partnership of California’s utilities, residents, businesses, institutions, government agencies and nonprofit organizations working to save energy.

LIGHTING RESEARCH CENTER (LRC)

LRC, part of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, is a leading university-based research center devoted to lighting, and offers the world's only M.S. degree in lighting. It provides information about lighting technologies, applications, and products.

National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC)

NFRC is a non-profit, public/private organization created by the window, door and skylight industry. It is comprised of manufacturers, suppliers, builders, architects and designers, specifiers, code officials, utilities and government agencies. NFRC provides consistent ratings on window, door and skylight products.

Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC)
NRDC works on a broad range of issues, including energy efficiency, to pursue its mission to safeguard the Earth; its people, its plants, and animals; and the natural systems on which all life depends. The organization uses law, science and the support of more than 1 million members and online activists.
